Are we the only ones who put on something white and immediately spill something on it? It’s like stains KNOW you’re wearing white and just want to ruin your day!

This dress is completely worth the risk, isn’t it? It’s from H&M which means you already know that it’s not going to break the bank. But here’s the secret - we’re both wearing this dress in straight sizes.

The lesson here is to not be afraid to shop around a bit. H&M often sells flowy dresses that are incredibly stylish and fun, but can also run larger, making them more accessible to a wider range of bodies (which we love). It’s about finding what works for YOU.

Now excuse us while we dodge coffee, ketchup, and dirt for the rest of the day!

Making friends as an adult is hard. Period.

When we’re young, friendship seems so easy. You create bonds with people in your neighborhood, who sit next to you in science class, or live in your dorm. And even when your lives move you apart, if you’re lucky, those bonds are still there.

But making new friends as an adult is different. Everyone has their own priorities so it’s harder to find connections or make the time to really get to know someone.

It’s almost like dating. You see something in someone that you think is cool or interesting, but you don’t know if they’re thinking the same thing.

Most of us are looking for those connections. So introduce yourself to the cool person you always run in to in your neighborhood or wherever. You never know where you’ll find your next good friend.

Listen Target, we love you. We REALLY do. If you ever wanted us to do a campaign for you, we’d be on a plane so fast your head would spin. (P.S. you should really consider this)

BUT we struggle with you sometimes. We love to show the size inclusive lines you carry and we LOVE that your customer can buy the same Universal Thread or Who What Wear look in straight OR plus size. That’s major. The main issue is that we can’t shop in your stores TOGETHER. One of us can walk in to a Target pretty much any day of the week and walk out with some fabulous looks. The other can find herself in the back corner look at two racks of clothes and then leaving.

And hey, this isn’t just you. We see it in pretty much any retail shop we walk in to.

So this is our request - carry all sizes in store. Take pieces from your fabulous lines that extend to plus sizing and put them on the racks. Embrace being size inclusive. Lead the pack. And then watch all bodies walk in your stores and walk away smiling from the instant gratification that comes with being able to purchase a great look and wear it out THAT night.

All bodies are valid and worthy. Through all of the fun looks and bright colors on our page, that’s the message we hope you take away.

Your body is yours to cherish and protect no matter your size, shape, or skin color and it’s up to us to embrace and celebrate each other for our differences.

Feeling good about your body doesn’t mean that you HAVE to wear skin tight clothes. Confidence doesn’t come from a crop top. That feeling comes when you embrace yourself in whatever capacity works for you and you break yourself free from society’s expectations.

Today is your reminder to give yourself grace in your journey. Finding comfort in the space you take up can be a rocky road. It can be awkward and uncomfortable. But remind yourself that you are worthy. And if you need a helping hand, we’ve got you!
