What a weekend for Annabelle McCoy and her Lucky Lax 2031 teammates in Pennsylvania! 🥍
This group put together an incredible performance, finishing 3-0-1 while scoring 46 goals and allowing only 7 all weekend. More impressive than the numbers was the way they played together- unselfish, disciplined, supportive, and truly as one team.
And as the goalie mom, I have to give some extra love to the defense. They were outstanding all weekend and did a great job keeping both the ball out of the net and my blood pressure under control.
While it’s tough knowing a tie in the final game kept them from advancing, there is so much to be proud of. This was a fantastic start to the summer season and a reminder of what this team is capable of when everyone contributes.
Can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for these girls.
