We believe in our blocks as much as we believe in our skills in writing and marketing, however, we've run into a very expensive obstacle.
When we decided to use crowdfunding to bring our blocks to life we thought it was the best approach for us. Before we did our pre-launch campaign, we talked to several marketing agencies specializing in crowdfunding and found out their price is ridiculous and outrageous. So we started researching the whole crowdfunding process, created a budget, and marketed our blocks to collect emails from people who showed some interest in our blocks. After all was said and done, we were not satisfied with what we've achieved and needed to market more. But since we've gone through our budget, we were at a standstill.
After a group meeting and trying to figure out our next step, we've decided to work with the investors who are interested directly.
We decided since crowdfunding will take more money than what we have right now, we are going to put the rest of our resources into completing our website where our customers can purchase from us directly. Our Indiegogo campaign will still continue its run and all perks purchased will still be fulfilled. Our thinking is that with our Indiegogo campaign and our direct website both active, we will be able to maximize our reach to any present and future customers.
