Operating out of a small studio in Columbus, Ohio the finished products are born from an idea that grows into sketches. After drawing, hides are selected based on their color and personality. I felt it was important to begin this post by saying thank you. Thank you to all the people that have purchased a bag or wallet from me over the past 8 years. Thank you to all the people that have followed, liked and supported OHLG. Thank you to the photographers, the models, the wholesalers and the family members that have passed my business card to anyone and everyone. You’ve all made the last 8 years more than job for me—it’s been a journey as a business owner. I’ve grown so much thanks to all of you! With growth comes change. I’m headed to England to attend a furniture making program this fall. I am beyond excited to add to my creative and technical skills in a new field. And going abroad means I will be taking a 1-year sabbatical from Open Hand Leather Goods.
