LARGE professional marionette puppet vintage folk art ventriloquist GIRL,with real human hair wig. Price is 185.00.We are offering this handmade , one of a kind LARGE old fashioned girl puppet, made by Ohio puppeteer and one time puppetry guild president the late Richard McClead. Carved from basswood and hand painted , with custom made costume. Clothes show some light stains, and usual wear for age and use.This fantastic professional marionette has very fluid movement with articulated mouth and is ready to perform or be used as a decoration/ display.Body measures 31" tall. The last pic is a portrait of Mr. McClead .This is a brief excerpt from Mr McClead's obit He graduated from OSU in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He taught 5th and 6th Grades in the Columbus Public Schools. Students remember him for his puppets, marionettes, and shows that he incorporated into the classroom. After the death of Letha in 1980 and his retirement in 1986, his puppetry became his full-time avocation.Many of his marionettes are on display at the Mid-Ohio Historical Museum in Canal Wi******er, OH.
