How it all began

It all started with a silly blue scarf. I was determined to teach myself how to knit so stitch after stitch I worked. Just when I thought I was making some progress, I'd find a mistake, have to pull it off and start all over. Again and again and again. Finally, after several retried attempts and a few tears in between, I finished it! And beautiful it was. Not long after, while planning my wedding, I realized that I wanted personalized and unique items for my wedding. So I decided to do it all myself. From my invitations to my wedding decorations to my hand painted wine glasses, I crafted and constructed my wedding exactly as I wanted it to look. These triumphs lit a spark! I took this determination along with my passion for creating and combined it with my graphic design and art background. I launched my Etsy shop and little did I know I was starting a career that would change my life. Handmade Creations by Eriallys (named after a family business Eriallys - for daughters Erica and Allyson) started with weddings but then with the birth of my two little girls, I expanded it to baby items and launched my clothing line. My goal is to give you a local hometown shop feel so that you have a great experience shopping with me for all of your milestone events. I love designing and creating new items so I'm happy to help you obtain the exact product that you're looking for. I'm always adding new items to my site and broadening my passion for creation.
