Tonight at bed time my daughter with such excitement said, "mommy, I have to tell you my dream last night!" This family has strong dreams, strong visions, we have sensitive spirits, and I see it in both of my children more and more 🥹🫶🏼
She went on to describe her dream with such detail and passion...
"There were kids with Jesus and the villains tried to take them and Jesus stood in front of them with a shield and a sword and told them to get behind Him because He will protect them! Then Jesus got the villains and fought them and the villains ran away because they said, "oh no, that's Jesus!" And they ran. And then Jesus went to Heaven and He took the kids with Him and He said, "children, don't ever leave me because I'm here to protect you." And then there were sheep and He was protecting the sheep and He was walking and looking for more kids and adults. And He watched me, and you, and sissy and bubba and daddy, and our family."
..she doesn't know the deeper meaning, but I do... and I love that Jesus is talking to her. She doesn't know these metaphors, she hasn't read that WE are His sheep, she doesn't know He is called the GOOD SHEPHERD, she hasn't read Ephesians 6 (armor of God), there's so so much packed into this beautiful dream that we haven't gotten into yet...
