Show me you’re a parent that works from home without telling me you work from home!
•Trying to juggle 2 kids while we’re both working, running businesses, and in school (me:mba husband:doctoral program) life is pretty crazy over here which is our normal 😂
•Trying to keep a 2year old and a 5 month old entertained while doing all of the above, let’s just say test our creativity daily but…
We’re still hanging in there! 😆

I just wanted to share a mommy moment that I was having as my mom calls them. I was listening to episode “Listening to your life” and the guest said something that really spoke to me. She was talking about raising her daughter and how she is “trying to shepherd her and not mold her.”

Raising a toddler is far from easy and it’s definitely not easy raising a little version of yourself 🙃 it is so easy to try and mold them into who you think they should be instead of guiding who they actually are.. but something I have been trying to do daily is to have more patience, and to be more understanding of my baby girl. There’s so much personality, and so many emotions bottled up inside of this little lady that sometimes it spills over easily and we all become frustrated. I’ve been reading and studying the gentle parenting approach with my husband, so that we can help become her best and true self, while also doing some self reflection, and self learning!

Over these past few months I have been planning, analyzing, and doing tons of self reflection. I have so many concepts, and business ideas that I wanted to work on but now I’ve figured it out. I’ve figured out how to combine them all but it’s going to be a tough long journey. I just wanted to use those post to encourage all moms out there with a dream to keep pushing, keep striving, and keep praying! No matter how tough or long the journey may be, as moms one thing we know how to do is endure, and to be resilient!
