Here is a fun pair of custom bell bottoms that I made for the one and only Tina Cossey. Dude, if you haven’t heard Tina’s voice, gear up your Spotify and smash in her name!! Tina wore these in her showcase for the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. So rad that I got to be a part of such an amazing musicians show 😍😍😍

I am thrilled to announce that I am hosting the March Maker’s Monthly at the Stitchin Post in West Little Rock, on March 27 or 28, 2026. I have titled it Sustainably Sewing: the Art of Up-cycling. It is a free presentation and showcase, but registration is required as seating is limited. I would be so honored if you would consider joining me on one of these two dates. https://www.stitchinpostinc.com/module/class/631333/makers-monthly-club-march—sustainably-sewing-the-art-of-up-cycling

Last year I had the honor of designing and creating this custom homecoming dress for a very special teenager, completely from scratch. Her inspiration was Taylor Swift's floral Oscar de la Renta gown. Carmen looks like she is right out of a fairytale!

I am thrilled to announce that I am teaching a garment class at the Stitchin' Post in Little Rock in October. There is one section but two sessions, Oct 10+11 (Friday & Saturday), 10 am - 3 pm both days.

The pattern we are using is called "Toaster Sweater" by Sew House Seven (View A). It's an easy serger pattern, and you can get all the supplies that you need at the Stitchin' Post off Rodney Parham!

There are only 3 seats left, so book the class now if you are interested.

Use your serger to stitch up this easy-to-make and very comfy sweater, with guidance from our newest staff member - Pam Gangluff.  If you don't yet have a serger or if you and your serger are not on friendly terms and you are considering a serger purchase, this class will give you the opportunity t...

**update!! The shop is dry!!! I’m so relieved! ❤️ boy that was stressful!

Hi friends! It’s moist in downtown Conway, but my shop hasn’t flooded yet. I’ve got a keen eye on my security camera to monitor the water situation. My front door is sandbagged.

To my customers: all customer garments are hanging in my back room, at least 4 feet off the ground. Should your garment get wet, I will pay to have it dry cleaned.

I will keep y’all updated.

Hi friends!

You may have noticed that it's been quiet here for awhile! I am just getting back to work on a part-time basis after having my second baby.

I wanted to share my upcoming plans so my customers would have a better idea of what to expect.

My schedule is pretty limited, but my general availability will be M-F 9 am - 3:30 pm with one Saturday a month, TBD. My plans are to work about 10 hours a week, so I can spend more time with my family.

I will be accepting all types of work, though on a case-by-case basis. I still don't like doing men's suits and jackets, so I will be referring those on.

I will be requiring a scheduled phone call before accepting your work, so I can decide if I'm the best fit for the project or if it's something I'd like to pass on to someone else. But don't worry, I know the best people in our area, and if I can't do it, I know who to send you to.

I'll be working on my website this week, so expect booking to be open soon! (I'll be booking from May on forward.)

I also wanted to say that I know that my work has had a slow turnaround time in the past. If you decide to schedule with me, we will work out the whole schedule together and agree on pickup, so those dates will be established. I'm expecting about a 2-3 week turnaround on "basic" work, essentially meaning that gowns may take longer.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

One of my customers told me about this dress sale going on in Conway this weekend, for any of you still on the hunt for a formal gown for homecoming. It is my understanding that this event will be selling 2nd hand formal to cocktail style dresses, both long and short. There are dressing rooms available at the event. They don't take cash, but they do take cashapp, venmo, paypal, or check.

Hi everyone!
Booking is now closed for 2024!

If you missed getting into my calendar this year, there are many great sewists in central Arkansas. For bridal and gowns, I am recommending Lauren Reynolds from altered by lauren in Conway. She is located in the shopping center behind CVS in Conway, but check her page for her hours and to make an appointment. I also like Audra's in NLR.

Hi friends!!
I am booking up quickly and am almost ready to close my books for the year. I only have a couple of intake appointments left for October.

If you have homecoming dresses you need done, please keep in mind that I will need between 3-5 weeks to complete them. Unfortunately, I will not be able to accommodate last minute or rush homecoming jobs this year.

To book an appointment, please visit: https://www.pambookseamstress.com/book-online

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me on this page and I will get to it as quickly as I can, though I'm in the throes of fall bridal season, so it might be a business day or so.

If you don't make it in time to book with me, there are many great local seamstresses and I'd be happy to refer you to someone who can handle your project.
