Today we’re celebrating the dads, grandpas, stepdads, bonus dads, and father figures who have taught us, supported us, and occasionally helped hold a quilt top while asking, “How much fabric do you really need?” 💙

Whether they taught us to build, fix, fish, camp, create, or simply believe in ourselves, Father’s Day is a great time to appreciate the people who have made a difference in our lives.

Well friends, I’ve been a little quieter than usual these past few weeks, and I have missed my quilting peeps! 💚

About four weeks ago, I came down with aspiration pneumonia, and I’m still working on getting my strength back. I’m on strict orders to take it easy — and you know me, that’s pretty much an oxymoron.

Right now, I’m working upstairs and moving a little slower than usual, but I’m hoping to be back in my office on Monday.

A huge thank you to Sarah and Heather for doing such a wonderful job keeping the shop running in my absence. I am so grateful for them, and I know many of you have been well cared for while I’ve been tucked away recovering.

Also, if you won a prize in one of our giveaways and haven’t received it yet, please reach out to us so we can make it right. We appreciate your patience more than you know.

Thank you all for your kindness, understanding, and continued support. I’ve missed seeing everyone and can’t wait to be back with my quilting family soon.
