The idea of becoming an empty nester, now that my boys are headed to college, got me thinking I would have more time to be present at work. It never crossed my mind, I would explore other options like travel, and work outside the office instead. I’m constantly promoting travel capsules and effortless style, so it’s a good thing I can do that gracefully!! Please DM if you need any appointments, we downsized and our showroom is closed for the week. You can shop through our online or via text! Thanks for your patience 🫶🏻

Some people like to browse and scroll, get a sense of what’s inside a brand based on their online presence. I like to visit storefronts and see their creativity poured out into their displays. I miss having a window to decorate because it was always a fun challenge. They had to tell a story based on a theme or color, and not just clutter items, but create balance, and so on… like creating a picture or a still life from scratch so people could see and imagine what you have to offer✨
I loved this little window display of a store I found in Madrid, I got to step inside and see the wonderful items they have on their shelves, etc. I didn’t buy anything yet, but I felt inspired and hope to come back soon!!

The World Cup ⚽️ might be over, but fútbol is still the trending topic this week!! Everyone is talking about the final, and about their favorite players. The halftime show was amazing and Shakira’s song is still on the top ten. There are different points of view towards the winning team 🏆, but bottom line, it’s was thrilling and exciting to cheer with people from all over the world and hear the roars every time they scored a goal!! Anyways, we stumbled upon this exhibit at Casa de Mexico in Madrid, showcasing photographs from Mexico’86 by Annie Liebovitz and I thought it would be an interesting discovery to see a fashionable perspective towards a sport, the landscape, the human body, and art!!

From grey to mauve and back to grey… these shades inspire me throughout the year. 🐚
It’s all about textures and contrasts, shapes and designs. Moments that get me through the day, like a cozy knit, or a milky tea, and flower arrangements. The photo gallery on my phone is filled with stylings, settings, locations and products that I forgot to post and share, like clippings for moodboards, and videos for reels, all documented for the right time that never happened.
Here is a glimpse of my world, unboxed and perfectly placed on a little corner for me to enjoy, hoping to inspire those that understand the true meaning of la vie atelier!!

Now that’s your go to Miami girl uniform. But who says you can’t wear them separately?? Pair your sweatshirt with a cool silk skirt, or your shorts with a cute vest, for a laid back Scandinavian summer. 🩶

Styling is fundamental when it comes to wearing clothes. Your personality shines through every time you walk out the door.

The mood sets the tone, if you need to go to a special event.

If you are planning on going to a specific destination, then by all means you need to add accessories.

Dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

Seasons also change the way you dress, by adding or removing layers you can change a whole ensemble.

Line up of our favorite basics for this summer :
Cool tshirts to wear with denim or match with any of our summer trousers.
Buttoned shirts you can wear open with swimsuits or tank tops underneath.
Scarves you can wear as pareos and throw on as a sexy sheer accessory.
A shiny hip belt to add contrast to a basic slip skirt.
Colors are neutral, shades are inspired from nature!!

I love working with my clients on a personal level, because it’s not what they wear, but how they wear it! Styling is part of my job and knowing the person is important. You have to put aside what’s in fashion and fit into the equation three important things: personality, color preferences, and lifestyle. Then I work around their features and choose based on their own needs.
Take Celine and Sophie, they are twins and they have common interests. They’ve been to the same school, they both have friends in common, and they are best friends to each other. Still, they have their own personal style and even though they may share everything, including their closet, they each wear things differently.
I had a lot of fun doing this photo session together.
I can’t wait to share more!!✨
