It’s been a long time coming, but today gets to be the day that I share this bitter sweet post. I’ve had plenty of time to come to terms with this decision, however I’m sure this’ll come as a surprise to many; January will be my last month operating brick n mortar locations. While the business has made some changes since I began, largely the biggest change comes from me, my heart is following new passions and I can no longer operate Rebel Vintage like I used to and it’s time to move forward in a new direction. This will always be a beautiful chapter in my life, one that introduced me to so many new people, experiences, and helped me buy my first home. I thank each and every one of you who’s made a purchase with me, or even just interacted with my posts for all the help! Till the end of January, my lasts two booths located in will be 75% off (Jewelry 65%) Please if you can, stop by, there’s still lots of pretty things left to buy! 💚

NFS Now that it’s begun cooling down, I’ve been spending a lot more time in my garage working on furniture. I came across this shelf at a garage sale; a mirror came off the back, a bulb was improperly installed on the top, it was covered in scratches, had an unpleasant smell, and a chunk of wood was missing at the bottom we’re a dog chewed on it. To make a long process short, I removed the back, used liquid nail to secure the mirrors, cleaned all the glass while disassembled, used vinegar to neutralize smell, stripped the finish, added epoxy wood putty to missing chunk, sanded, restained, toned with and varnished for a fantastic display shelf! Plus a new concealed light 😁 Slowly, but surely I’ll be adding more refinished goods to my booth so I hope you’ll stop by to see them!

This is my last tension pole lamp I swear! Offered at $250 this beauty fits both the kitsch aesthetic with it’s beautiful pressed leaves in the lampshades and mid century modern with its sleek design. A great conversation piece for any home!
Please note that the shades are burned, the pole does not have snaps to hold the rods in place without tension, and the veneer is chipped.

Perhaps one of my most exciting finds of 2023 This three lamp, ceramic shade, tension pole, measures in at a jaw dropping 10ft! It can be compressed down roughy 1ft, perfect for a home with high ceilings! It’s got some vintage wear, but in overall in show stopping condition. Offered at $750. Message me if interested 😊

With how bad the heat has been, I haven’t refinished a single furniture piece this summer tbh 😅 but that hasn’t stopped me from working on smaller projects. I found these chalkware fish at an estate sale. I’m sure whoever painted them had a great time doing so, but I wanted to “update” 🤣 them with a more mid century style. These look so nice in my bathroom! How do you all think I did?

I’ve been curating some beautiful pieces like this Mid Century Tension Pole Lamp 🤗 The brass plating does show some wear and one light is missing the teak wood cap.
