Some people laugh because they don't understand. Some people stay silent because they've never had to carry that weight.

But Juneteenth matters.

After weeks of residents praying for rain, reports confirm the prayers have been answered. Unfortunately, the only thing filling up faster than the reservoirs are the potholes across the city.

In other developments, local sightings indicate Edgars are running more wild than usual, with experts advising residents to proceed with caution near car washes and Taco Tuesdays.

Meanwhile, mosquitoes are reportedly counting down the hours until sunset as they prepare for another evening of terrorizing the good people of Crooked Christi.
