To the horse who gave me back my confidence...
You probably never knew what I was carrying when I showed up at the barn. The doubts. The fear. The mistakes I couldn't stop replaying in my mind.
There were days I questioned myself. Days when I felt like I wasn't good enough, strong enough, brave enough, or capable enough.
And then there was you.
You didn't ask me to be perfect. You didn't care about my failures or my insecurities. You just met me where I was.
One ride at a time, you reminded me that I could do hard things.
You taught me to trust again. To be patient with myself. To get back on after the bad rides. To stop chasing perfection and start believing in progress.
You carried me through seasons when I felt lost. You gave me something to focus on when my mind was heavy. You reminded me that confidence isn't something you're born with-it's something you build, one small victory at a time.
The funny thing is, most people will never understand how much a horse can heal a person. They'll see an animal. We'll see the friend who quietly helped put the pieces back together.
So thank you.
For every lesson.
Every challenge.
Every mile.
Every moment you believed in me before I believed in myself.
You'll never know how much of who I am today is because of you.
