Our Corte Madera location is a gem 💎

We moved to the Corte Madera Town Center in 1958, which makes us an original tenant of the mall. We’ve seen stores come and go, people grow up and send their kids and grandkids in, sold suits to high school grads and then tuxedos for their weddings, and more.

We’ve also seen trends come and go—suits styles evolve, tuxedoes become more fitted, breaks getting shorter then longer and shorter again…we could go on.

But we believe in timelessness. Trends are fun and often stylish, but they don’t make a home in your closest for the long haul. Trends also feed fast fashion—high turnover, more labor, less pay, and poor quality. We want you to purchase something you love and can see yourself wearing 5, 10, 20 years down the road.

We’ve seen all the wedding movies, gushed over the dresses over and over again, and rated them according to dozens of different criteria, but we’ve never talked about the grooms. And you know what? It was hard just finding the photos for this post.

With every wedding, the focus tends to be on the bride, and we love that. But the groom deserves some attention as well, especially since a wedding comes down to a bond being solidified between the two.
