When my customer had the idea for "Art Deco" it was little daunting because I'd never done anything like that before and had really never seen anything similar. With an image of a beautiful cup for inspiration it was quite and adventure to make these. The idea for the original stylized horses was one of those that came first thing in the morning and took just a few seconds to draw and come to life. Seems like I'm always saying these are some of my favorites but this set of chaps are truly top 5 of all time for me. My goal is always to make things that I have never been seen before and these certainly fill that bill. All custom silver as well with Lapis Lazuli stones. Doing custom chaps is such a fun journey with my customers. I always ask them for things that are personal to them to add a unique and personal touch. On these the customer told me that her sister always loved tiny frogs. Bingo. The tiny frog chaps. Elegant, personal, perfect! Oh, and the custom silver features genuine Onyx stones. These shots are my morning and evening commute. Is it any wonder why I pretty much never leave? Couldn't have imagined when I picked this property 20 years ago that it would be what it is today. Again I thank my wonderful customers/ friends that make this life possible. So lucky to get to do the right thing and feel this happy in life. Doesn't always end up the way expect or think it should.. sometimes it's Better! 🥰

How cool are these custom Croc inlaid pieces? Neck piece, collar tips, detachable cuffs, and an awesome belt to match custom chaps. Now any top can be part of a customized show outfit. Here's another 'memorial' custom vase for a beloved family member. Cowboy will be well remembered with this piece that features his own hair burned in to the handmade (by me ; ) stoneware vase. As well as with the photo and braided piece of hair accented by sterling silver and turquoise. Cowboy had a very long tail! Love getting to do such special and meaningful pieces for my wonderful customers. Thanx Sammy Overacker for letting me do this project. It holds of little piece of my heart as well...
