I'm sry, but due to unforseen health issues, Crawfordsville Seamstress is closing its doors. If I have your garment, it will be finished. If it has a deadline, it will be finished. If no deadline then it may take longer. Please be patient with me. You may need to call me to DBL check on it. But I do have it with your name on it. If I have not received it yet, call me. Other arrangements may have to be made. Thank you to those that have used my services. I will continue to do some repairs but no more alterations. Emergency situations will still happen, I understand. I will do my best to accommodate. But I am officially closed. Thank you for your time and business.

With this snow storm coming in everyone got their coats out! So many zippers! A THANKS GUYS!!! But you know I'm here when it's warm too. Lol! Don't forget I also fix and or replace zippers in jeans, purses, sofa cushions, etc. I love zippers!!

Begining October 17th and running through the next Saturday the 25th, I will be on vacation with my family I will not be taking any more orders for alterations until I get back.

Wow it's been cold!!!! Anyone need zipper work done on coats they've had to unpack from storage? Or maybe you need patches on currently used coats.

Did anyone get a sewing machine for Christmas and you're looking to learn how to sew? I can give lessons on the start up basics of the machine or the basics of sewing.

Want something custom made? Ya, I do that too! Come test my mind with your ideas and sketches.

Ok, time for me to change gears. Literally. Since I cannot do formals anymore because of their weight (there will be some allowances), all I'm doing is repairs and custom orders.

So with that being said.... I'm going to be bored. Lol!

Does anyone want to learn how to sew? Whether by hand or on a machine. Christmas is coming up. How special would it be if you made that unique gift yourself instead of it being store bought? If you have your own machine, bring it and I'll show you how to use it.

Due to personal and health reasons I am unfortunately going to have to stop taking orders for formals for the unforeseeable future. I will be able to take small repair jobs as my schedule allows. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Whew!!! Wedding season is just about over!!! Setting up calendar for Fall and winter now. I will be taking the week of Nov 25-30 off for personal reasons. If you need zippers replaced in coats or jackets, or need any other minor repairs. Call me to get put on the schedule. I won't be doing ANY sewing the week of Nov 25-30 as I'm having surgery on my eyes.
