The boutiques primary business' is selling items on consignment. The majority of people do not understand the meaning of consignment. Most people get the meaning of consignment confused with the meaning of resale. After the items sold, you, the consignor ,receive payment from the store, the consignee. We operate as a consignment business' only! We do not buy items directly from you. You receive mo
ney for your items only after they have sold.
1. We only accept garments and accessories that are prom, homecoming, bridal, and formal wear related, of which can be with new tags , or "gently loved".
2. We accept garments and accessories depending on the style, age, and condition of your items. We would like to stay within a 5 year range of purchase.
3. Some exceptions may be made depending on the season and inventory of our shop.
4. We will carefully inspect your items and if we deem them not fit for our shop, we may not accept them at that time.
5. If we decide to accept your items, they must be cleaned either by you, professionally, or by other methods before they can be sold.
6. We advise you to make an appointment first for us to inspect your items before cleaning is done to see if we will accept them.
7. After our inspection, we can advise which type of cleaning method is recommended for your items!
8. Please don't be offended if we say " no thanks" to any of your items. We will only accept what is best for our customers based on inventory and season.
9. Our contract with the consignor is for 2 years. The contract is exclusively with us and items CANNOT BE LISTED on any other website or sold directly by you while items are under contract.
10. Items must be left for the length of the contract and will be released at the earliest one week prior to the contract expiration.
11. F YOUR ITEMS SELL, YOU WILL RECEIVE 50% OF THE SELLING PRICE.
12. Payments will be mailed out the following month after your item has been sold.
13. Items that are not picked up within 1 week after your 2 year contract has been opened, the garments will become property of Preloved Consignment.
14. Consignments are accepted throughout the week! We do not accept consignments on Saturdays.
15. Saturdays are our busiest days for sales which make it difficult to carefully inspect your items.
16. Please contact us to set up an appointment to bring items in for consignment.
17. We do offer a Layaway Policy- $50 down and 4 weeks to pick up. If not picked up on the due date you will lose your deposit and the dress will be put back on the rack. NO HOLDS!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
19.If you decide to pick your dress or dresses up from our shop before your two year contract is up, you will be charged a ser charge of $75 dollars.
