Denise Melton Director of Threads of Hope Thrift Store and House of Hope Children’s Center has served as Chairman for the Blue Ribbon Event for the Prevention of Child Abuse for 15 years. The mission of both organizations is to provide resources and funding to provide care for vulnerable youth. Stand with us and many others for the prevention of child abuse! The event is free to the public on Sunday April 12, 2026 from Noon to 2:30pm. Free food and prizes and goodies for the kiddos at the Cumberland County Community Complex.
