Is African fashion about geography, or about who’s actually behind it? I have thoughts, and I want yours too.

**Correction:** I said Kente comes from the Akan people. The Asante, who originated Kente, are Akan. But Ewe people also weave their own distinct Kente tradition, and they’re not Akan, they’re a separate ethnic group entirely.

So tell me. Does it have to come from the continent to count? Or is it about who’s actually behind it? Let me know your thoughts.
