Born in April 2021 in Cullman, Alabama, he joined a family that accepted him fully, took his medical care seriously, and quickly learned that “normal” was going to be a flexible concept. With treatment, patience, and a truly unreasonable amount of love, Al lived a good life. He did not let epilepsy define him, though it did give him a flair for drama and a very devoted care team. Along the way, he
gathered a surprising number of friends and supporters who followed his story, learned more about feline epilepsy, and realized that cats can be both medically complex and aggressively opinionated. Al’s journey ended on August 18, 2023, but his influence did not get that memo. This store was created in his honor to pair cat-themed design with epilepsy awareness, keeping the focus on better treatment, better understanding, and eventually, a cure. Later on, political satire joined the mix, because coping sometimes looks like humor, commentary, and calling things exactly what they are. If you enjoy it, smile, learn something, or feel a little more aware than you were five minutes ago, then yes—that’s exactly the point.
