There’s something about turning the page to September. The last tomato has been picked, apples are beginning to ripen, and Friday night football is back in the air. Porch lights glow a little earlier, and autumn whispers on the breeze.
The season stirs memories of Sunday suppers, worn quilts, family gathered around the table, and simpler days—while leaving room for new ones to be made.
