Notice / Statement Regarding Insurance & Lab Processing
If you have most VA employee EyeMed insurance, Railroad EyeMed, or other EyeMed plans, your glasses and contact lens orders are processed through an EyeMed‑contracted lab.
If you have Coal Mine, Wellmark Advantage, Monument Health, or other VSP insurance, your glasses and contact lens orders are processed through a VSP‑contracted lab.
If you are self‑pay, your orders are processed through our Essilor partner lab in Wisconsin, which is one of the closest Essilor facilities to our office.
All orders require a minimum of 10–14 business days for completion.
Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
If an order does not pass final inspection, it will be re‑made by the lab before shipping to ensure quality.
As of 2026, many optical labs across the country—including ours—are experiencing staffing shortages, which may affect processing times. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the highest quality for your eyewear.
• All services must be paid at the time of placement.
This includes exams, materials, and any additional services provided during your visit.
