So just when I start to knock the dust off last year boots, all around me I'm surrounded by a sea of color....Spring in the Fashion industry is in full bloom and yet here in Texas we are hoping that we get to wear our cute scarves and sweaters if we are lucky once a week.
We have weather that allows one day to break out the parka and the next to dig in the back of closet and throw on our flip flops... However, after spending nearly my entire life in this climate you learn to brush off the frustration and plan the wardrobe on a daily basis while the rest of the country gets to enjoy the consistency of seasons and getting every penny out of their boots and scarves.
I say NO to thinking of pastels and bright colors in January, I will enjoy my winter and wear those dusty boots with Texas pride!
