I have been obsessing over the dresses since last year and I finally made one for myself! These dresses are absolutely beautiful and if you have the money I'd absolutely encourage you to support this lovely small business. I however don't have the means for that and I knew I could recreate something similar for much less.
I used the 'Lucca' pattern from as my starting point and then did a few pattern hacks to give it a more similar vibe to the inspo dresses. I did do some variations rather than try to do an exact copy for my own personal preferences. I have the whole process outlined in a YouTube video on my channel for anyone interested!

I saw the Daughters of India dresses recently and they looked so incredibly comfortable so I decided I just needed to try making one myself! I started with the 'Chanel' pattern by and then made a whole lot of hacks. This did not go well even though I did end up with a dress that I'm fairly pleased with 😆 if you want to watch my trials and tribulations I documented it all in a video on my YouTube channel!

My effort at recreating a Christy Dawn dress that I absolutely love! I have a video on my YouTube of exactly how I achieved this but basically I started with the 'Addison' by and I made a few hacks like adding an elastic back and the double skirt. The last photo is the dress that inspired me.

I added a ruffle to the bottom. Took the elastic out of the neckline and lowered it then added in a drawstring instead. I also added a row of shirring under the bust to reduce the amount of ease. I love it so much more now however it feels too fancy for everyday now 😆
