🌪️ Seamless Gutters: 1. Mother Nature: 0.

Yesterday’s seamless gutter install in Walworth, Wisconsin was one for the books.

About halfway through the job, the sky turned black, the wind picked up, and we all collectively decided that maybe standing on ladders wasn’t the smartest life choice. 😂 So, we did what any hardworking crew would do…

We went to lunch. 🍔

Forty-five minutes later, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and we thought, “Well… that was dramatic.”

The homeowner looked at us and said, “I figured you guys would’ve packed up and gone home after that storm!”

Our response? “Why? It already passed.”

It wasn’t until we started driving home that we realized we had apparently been in the eye of the Midwest weather circus. Just a mile or two away were trees snapped in half, buildings damaged, and debris everywhere. Meanwhile, we were over here deciding what to order for lunch, completely clueless that a fierce storm had just left a path of destruction practically next door. 😳

Moral of the story: Midwest weather is completely unhinged.

The good news? The gutters got installed, the crew stayed safe, and another happy customer is checked off the list.

Today, it’s owned by the famous DairHaus Ice Cream Shop in Rockton, where it’s now used to help make their delicious homemade ice cream. 🍦 We love seeing something we built continue to serve such a great local business.
