Crush A Can Day

Why: To raise awareness about recycling. The more educated our society is about benefits of recycling aluminum cans—we are empowered and can conserve energy. Taking part in this event is one of the many ways we can protect the environment by reducing the amount of reusable items dumped in landfills.

This great effort will also support low-income families of Dallas County communities. The Salvation Army of North Texas hosts annually, the Angel Tree Program which helps families in need by providing Christmas gifts to children ages 14 and under. The ultimate goal of the Angel Tree program is to get new toys and clothing into the hands of needy children during the holiday season.

Huge S/O to my team who made me feel extra appreciated on Friday. I was presented a succulent cherry, whip cream 🥧 & warm words that I’ll keep in my 💜. There’s no greater feeling than being supported/appreciated: I’m grateful🙌. It was absolutely delicious too‼️ The Boss even went above & beyond—he put me on dem “Taste of the Islands”— 💣 oxtails! 🗣A definite once per quarter meal😉
