A three-day design-tour for Dallas designers, the general public, architects, brands, showrooms, galleries, academies and other colleagues.

By collectively featuring curated HUBS, art and design districts, and creative landmarks during the April design-route, GLUE provides a “mapped” and route-centric networking platform that fosters industry connection and innovation.

Participants will not only open their doors during the event but are inspired to present an immersive and experiential program within their area of expertise such as lectures, a retrospect, guest speaker, book signings, workshop, maker emonstrations, network reception or other. GLUE further elevates and connects creative communities through year-round events, meetups, talks, networking events and Community Cocktails.

Dallas has lots of art and architecture icons spread around the city. With the goal of connecting and inspiring, today we want to highlight the work of Brad Oldham .

In all of his sculptures, viewers can sees Brad’s meticulous craftsmanship and passion for his work. He enjoys exploring his visual aesthetic to communicate stories while the quality of his work remains consistent and strong.

From public community spaces to private homes, Brad has elevated many environments worldwide with his site-specific works. In 2011, the Texas Society of Architects recognized Brad with their Artisan Award and heralded him as the Artist/Craftsman of the Year for the American Institute of Architects. In 2016, he was named the first-ever Artist of the Year by the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau.

What’s special about GLUE is that it connects everyone in the city. Unlike a trade show centralized in one building, GLUE is an event distributed throughout an entire city where showrooms, studios, galleries, institutes, hotels and more open their location to be part of the design-route.

Get to know Brenda Houston, an American designer living in Dallas. In 2008 she launched her own award winning furniture and wall covering collections. Brenda has been featured in , , and her own shop in shop concept at Barneys New York. Now she works with AD 100 designers in creating exciting projects as well as being the Director of Trade Engagement for Fair.

Dallas is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and will be the largest metropolis within the next 75 years. There is a huge influx of new people moving into the city. GLUE offers a perfect opportunity for people to explore new design and art as they get to know Dallas. As Founding Partner of .dallas Brenda is commited with finding both large and small venues that showcase this city's broad range of talent. There is a huge amount of talent in small businesses as well as larger showrooms and galleries and I encourage everyone to get out an support the arts!
