First of all, this man went from mocking Christ to praising His name. Of course he’s done some bad things and made some not so good decisions, just like we all have.
Yesterday’s message at church was about “Front Yard Faith. Backyard Behavior.” Anyone’s front yard can look immaculate and untouched, but what does that backyard look like? 🤔
Jesus wasn’t impressed with appearances. He cared about the heart.
Just scrolling through the comments shows there are still a lot of lost souls out there. Some people celebrate redemption while others only want to remind someone of who they used to be.
The Gospel has never been about finding people who have it all together. It’s about Jesus transforming people who know they don’t.
If God can redeem Saul into Paul, a thief on the cross in his final moments, and countless broken people throughout Scripture, why are we surprised when He changes someone today?
The revival is here. I know that for sure.
More and more people are being led to Christ and joining The Heirs Club. Heaven doesn’t celebrate perfect people. Heaven celebrates repentant people.
So instead of asking, “How could God use someone like that?” maybe we should ask, “Thank God He can use someone like me.”
Grace changes everything. ✝️
