Your daughter deserves more than “pick a major and pray it pays off.” Teach her a SKILL that pays even when life doesn’t go according to plan. A girl who can sew or make wigs will never be broke.

Sewing + wig-making are recession-proof. Women will always get their hair done. It will never matter what the weather is doing outside or who the president is she will ALWAYS eat. She can work from home safe and comfortable, after school, weekends.

The world tells our girls to be “realistic.” I say teach her to be self-funded and sovereign. College teaches theory which we love, but skills create freedom. A girl with a skill never has to beg a job, a man, or a system to choose her. Buy her a class that becomes income, not clutter in a corner
