I met Emily when her backpack was swallowed her tiny frame and she had the cutest bob I had ever seen on a small human.

She had a smile that left your soul happy, so when I learned that she’d just fought for her life, I was puzzled at how that could get her story.

Emily taught me that joy has to be given up because not even cancer could steal hers.
