This vintage Hexie quilt is amazing! It’s over 100 years old. I quilted a stipple all over to allow the hand piecing to shine. The edges are finished with a facing rather than traditional binding. Swipe to see the bound facing.

I’m feeling honored to have been trusted with this 100 year old quilt top. The condition and piecing were excellent. With the owners permission, I salvaged the top and bottom border to create binding for a perfect match. Now it can be enjoyed for even more generations.
