Good-bye traditional photo booths. Hello Ziya, a new experience that transforms photos into AI-generated watercolors portraits. Indeed, one-of-kind pieces of art.

Brought to you by hospitality genius and founder of Make Your Life Sweeter, Yasmeen Tadia, Ziya joins the company’s clever line-up of specialty dessert catering, creative custom gifts and unforgettable interactive moments that clients all over the world have enjoyed for more than a decade.

I was suuuper excited to preview ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ tonight - a day before its general release! But, sadly, I was also really underwhelmed! 😔

Miranda is now MY biggest disappointment. She is no longer the fierce, over-confident boss we loved in the first movie. She is, in a word, soft. That’s all.

Nigel is soft as well…and looks, quite frankly, sleep deprived.

Andie, who has become an accomplished, award-winning journalist goes back to Runway in much the same immature way she arrived at the magazine despite her previous success.

Emily is the only character who appears to have thrived…moved forward and upward. Yet, even though she eventually takes a big step backwards, she’s, in my opinion, the only redeeming character in the movie.

The Lady Gaga cameo was one part interesting and one part forced.

But! How was the fashion? Also a big disappointment.

The best part of the evening was running into Cathy Williamson () and her husband afterwards at .

What happens when a hat, a theme, a beautiful day and Dallas’ most fashionable, creative and charitable women come together? Magic!

And that’s exactly what happened at this year’s Mad Hatter's Tea and Fashion Show, the theme of which was ‘The Art Of The Garden,’ featuring Dallas’ own Ese Azanebor () and benefitting the Arboretum's Women's Garden.

Thank you, Cynthia Smoot (), for an unforgettable experience!

Not even the sideways rain could stop me from seeing the Pierre Cardin Heritage Collection ( )fashion show curated by Ken Weber () and produced by Jan Strimple ( ) - two Dallas treasures.

Ken is the ONLY person who the Pierre Cardin team has invited to Paris to view the legendary designer’s Archives (which consist of tens of thousands of garments) and curate the collection featured in the runway show at the Hall of State and to be sold exclusively at Martini Consignment () Dallas’ most exclusive vintage and designer store that he and his partner, Greg Kelly, founded.

The night before the fashion show, we attended an ‘invitation only’ preview of the collection and met Pierre’s nephew who is now head of the company along with Mathew, head rainmaker.

What happened in October? We celebrated many milestone birthdays and mourned the loss of a childhood friend and my father-in-law while living life with those we love! And, yes, I am keenly aware it’s November 10th.

Marbella is consider the Amalfi Coast of Spain. TBH - I wouldn’t go that far, but it is beautiful and right along the Mediterranean coast. Our hotel was fantastic, we soaked up a lot of sun and enjoyed the best meals of our entire trip. Plus, we spent a night in London on our way home to visit the Harrods - the mothership of fashion!

Where to stay

Where to eat:

*
* - many options

What to do:
* Relax on the beach or at one of the hotel’s pools
* Have lunch at the hotel’s beach club restaurant - enjoy the breeze, the view and a glass of of Cava
* Reserve a cabana at
* Stroll through the colorful streets of Old Town Marbella
* Spend the night in London on your way home and visit

What to avoid:
* Sailing on a catamaran. The water is VERY choppy and not as crystal clear as it is in Italy.

Next stop - the charming town of Seville, Spain, with its rich history, beautiful hotels and cobblestone streets.

Where to stay:

What to do:
Visit - the beautiful Royal palace where much of was filmed
Visit the and see Christopher Columbus tomb
*Visit the and see a stunning view of the city - but be prepared to walk up 17 ramps to get to the top
Grab a cold beer at one of the many outdoor cafes in Santa Cruz and, if you’re lucky, see a fashion photo shoot in progress
Visit the point at which Christopher Columbus launched his expedition
See a Flamenco Show - Seville is the birthplace of this emotional and highly-charged type of dance - but do NOT see it at (trust me)

Where to eat:
Dine under the stars in the atrium of the hotel’s San Fernando Restaurant

Avoid:
The Eneko Basque restaurant - even after multiple confirmations, they didn’t have any record of our reservation and couldn’t accommodate us
A bike tour - in a foreign city with no explicit ‘rules of the road’ and far to many modes of transportation - bikes, scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, cars, trams, horse drawn carriages - all vying for the same streets and sidewalks along with many pedestrians, I highly discourage you from participating in this life-threatening activity. Relax by the pool with your favorite cocktail instead.

Barcelona - From Old Town with its labyrinth of narrow streets filled with shops, street entertainers and markets contrasted by Passeig de Gracias - the most upscale shopping destination in the city - to everything Gaudi - his house, his buildings, his masterpiece, Sagrada Familia - and Catalonian wineries known for Cava, the Champagne of Spain, the capital city has something for everyone.
