Hey Purple Dot fam! My mom and I spent most of the day together at market yesterday and the moment I stepped in there, it felt like home. Like I could breath again. I soo missed it. It has honestly been a while since we have posted. So I thought why not reach out and update you guys on where we’re at.
When we closed the store front in downtown Wylie and went strictly online, it was and has been a very bumpy road; sort of an emotional one with Purple Dot.
Some of you know we started Purple Dot to be able to help kids and elders in Venezuela which was a dream my grandfather had. The name Purple Dot holds a lot of meaning. “Purple” represents Royalty. “Dot” is the circle of Jesus. We stand together as a community in Jesus’ powerful circle.
When life took a turn, I started a full time job and was able to build a house and get my son, Noe, in a better school. I met my amazing fiancé a little over a year ago and now getting married next year! 💜
To be honest… for a while my mom and I have continued to just wonder, should we just let go and say our goodbyes to Purple Dot or start over and try again. It has been so hard and we always break down thinking about it.
One thing I’ve learned a lot throughout these past 2 years is how strong community is. I woke up thinking, I think we could use some prayers right now. To know what next step to take.
We always enjoyed the support and love we received from all of you. 🫶
