📖Today we honor the birthday of Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian poet, artist, and the voice of a nation that refused to be silenced.

Nearly two centuries later, his words still echo with striking clarity: about freedom, dignity, justice, and the unbreakable spirit of Ukraine. What he wrote about oppression, resistance, and the dream of a free homeland feels not like history, but like today’s reality.

Shevchenko reminded us that a nation lives as long as its people remember who they are and refuse to bow to tyranny.

And it’s the last day of February.
Another brutally hard winter for Ukraine is almost over.

For four long years, since russian invasion of Ukraine escalated into a full-scale war, Ukraine has been standing, enduring blackouts, missile attacks, loss, separation, grief, and still not giving up. Ukraine stands because of its defenders, volunteers, supporters and allies. Winter tested us again. Spring will witness our resilience.

Spring reminds us:
Even the harshest frost cannot kill what is rooted deeply.
Even the longest night cannot stop the sunrise.

Hope in Ukraine is not naïve, it is earned.
Renewal is not symbolic, it is an act of courage.

What began in 2014 as a heart-deep idea of supporting Ukrainian producers and sharing Ukrainian culture and history, in response to the of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine has grown into something bigger. From a tiny home-based online shop to an actual store in Dallas filled with Ukrainian - made products, embroidery, cultural gifts, and customization services, this journey has been powered by love, purpose, and motivation to help Ukraine fight✊

I am proud of these 11 years — of every order delivered, every stitch of embroidery, every collaboration with Ukrainian artisans, every fundraiser and humanitarian aid collection, every customer who chose to support Ukraine through their purchase 🤝
