Inanna’ Seven Gates Bordeaux - The satin finish shifts between deep wine and near black depending on the light. Black heels, a single gold piece at the neck, dark cherry lip, hair back or relaxed. This is a low-light dress, candlelit dinners, galleries, wine bars, late evenings. This reveals itself in layers. From across the room, deep bordeaux.
Up close, guardian lions flanking roses, eight-pointed stars, and the v***a motif drawn from Sumerian cylinder seals where it marked sovereignty over the body.
Inanna descended through seven gates and surrendered something at each one; by the seventh she held the most power.

THE VEGVISIR was worn on the body before a journey, inked into skin when moving through conditions where orientation matter of death or life. Eight runic staves radiate from a single center, each aimed at a different unknown; the Huld Manuscript states it simply: the bearer finds the way through storm, across unfamiliar ground, and returns.

The falcon here belongs to Freya, whose feather cloak carried its wearer between worlds. Falcons choose a line of flight only after they have seen the whole terrain. The wild cats below the compass pulled Freya’s chariot: sovereign, self-directed, recognizing no hierarchy beyond their own nature. Freya, first among the Vanir, presided over love, war, death, and the passage of the soul; she chose half the fallen from every battlefield before Odin claimed the rest. The Vegvisir sits inside that tradition.

At the border of every block in this fabric, two symbols sit almost hidden within the geometric grid. One is the Eye of Horus, destroyed in battle yet restored to its full function. The other is the Was sceptre, the instrument gods and pharaohs carried to command the forces of chaos. Both appear discreetly in the print.

The scarab god Khepri rolled the sun across the sky each morning. Egyptians observed a beetle pushing its sphere through dirt and recognized a principle: order emerging from what others discard. The Blue Water Lilies of the Nile follow the same pattern. They close at night, sink beneath the surface, and rise at dawn unmarked. Egyptians called this kheper, the continuous process of becoming. These two symbols belong to the same doctrine.

In ancient Egypt, to know the true name of a thing was to hold authority over it. Isis knew more true names than any other figure in the pantheon. Before she was worshipped she lived as a fugitive. After the murder of Osiris she fled into the marshes of the Nile Delta with an infant and no court, no throne, no army. What she possessed was knowledge of plants, of venom, and of the hidden names of things. She moved through chaos by understanding its structure at a depth no one else could reach.
