It’s not our performance. It’s not our record. It’s not our best days stacked against our worst days.

If salvation depended on us proving our worth, we would fail before we even started.

That’s the point.

The moment I stopped asking, “Why is this happening to me?” and started asking, “What is God trying to teach me?”

Because those two questions sound similar, but they lead you to two totally different places.

“Why is this happening to me?” keeps you stuck in frustration.
It makes everything feel personal.
It makes pain feel like punishment.

But “What is God trying to teach me?”
That shifts something in you.
It doesn’t mean the situation suddenly feels good.
It doesn’t mean it hurts less.
It just means you’re no longer seeing it as random.

Now you’re looking for meaning.
Now you’re looking for growth.
Now you’re trusting that even in the hard stuff, God is still working.

Jesus said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” That is not a vague promise. That is a direct word with power. In Matthew 9:29, He touched their eyes and declared it. Not because they had perfect circumstances. Not because everything looked easy. But because they believed.

That changes everything.

Faith is not pretending the problem isn’t real. Faith is refusing to let the problem have the final word. It means trusting God even when the answer is not visible yet. It means standing firm when doubt tries to speak louder than hope.

If you’ve been praying, waiting, and holding on, this is your reminder: belief matters. Your faith is not wasted. Your trust is not empty. When Jesus said, “Because of your faith, it will happen,” He was showing us that faith opens the door for God’s work.

So don’t give up now. Don’t shrink back. Don’t let fear decide your outcome. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep expecting.

Because when God speaks, everything changes.

And if He said it, He can do it. If He touched it, it can be restored. If He promised it, it will happen.

Just believe.

I didn’t choose how my story started, but my beginning never determined where I belonged.

Born in jail. Foster care. Adopted. Growing up feeling different. For years, there were parts of my story I didn’t fully understand.

But God did.

Before I knew my purpose, He knew me.
Before I understood belonging, He chose me.
Before Faith Gang® ever existed, I was already part of His family.

Faith Gang was born from a real story—a reminder that your past, your family history, and the labels placed on you do not determine your worth or identity.

Christ does.

We all have different stories.
But we have the same Father.
