Celebrate justice and freedom for African-Americans with this beautiful Juneteenth Women's Power t-shirt.

Juneteenth celebrates the freeing of the slaves through the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation issued by Abraham Lincoln. The holiday was originally acknowledged as a significant day in Texas, on June 19, 1866, which marked the first anniversary of the day that African Americans there first learned of the Emancipation Proclamation from Union soldiers on June 19th, 1865 -more than two years after it was initially issued.

Although Juneteenth is a truly meaningful and important holiday to be embraced by all people, there is much work to do before we can declare true global equality of all people. This t-shirt acknowledges the joy of freedom and the need for future progress.
