Each hat is carefully designed with a variety of super cool, funky embellishments such as vintage jewelry, buttons, fabulous feathers..whatever we can find! Each hat begins with choosing a color, knitting and then "felting" (shrinking the wool into a tight warm fabric). There is a drying process that can take up to two days, during that time forming the hat's shape. Next comes the fun part - picki
ng out just the right theme for the hat - buttons, broches, feathers, fur then we hand sew the emblishments onto the hat. Currently we are toooo busy for special orders but if you have a special "Grandma's, Mom's" item you would like on a hat we will do that for sure! We have been knitting our little fingers off since August to bring you these beautiful works of art. Ginger hand selects the colors, knits and felts the hats, ships them off to Jane, where Jane works her magic on fine tuning the design.
