This is the part of owning a small business that I dislike, but sometimes things need to be said!

I woke up to a $750 CHARGEBACK on an order with items arriving TOMORROW! This is absolutely ridiculous, especially when customers agree to the estimated timeframe before purchasing

Let me explain a few things:
💕 PRE-ORDERS TAKE APPROXIMATELY 8–10 WEEKS! This is an ESTIMATE, not a guaranteed delivery date. If you cannot wait that long or need something for an upcoming trip, PLEASE DON’T ORDER!

💕 FACTORY ORDERS ARE PLACED IN BULK! We must meet minimum quantities before ordering. Then comes material ordering, cutting, sewing, quality inspections, shipping & CUSTOMS! Any one of these steps can cause delays, especially around the holidays. I HAVE ZERO CONTROL OVER THESE DELAYS!

💕 I EVEN PAY EXTRA 💰OUT OF MY OWN POCKET to expedite shipping & help get your orders here faster. I don’t pass those additional expenses on to you!

💕 YOU AGREE BEFORE CHECKOUT! Shopify requires you to physically check a box ✅ acknowledging that your purchase is a PRE-ORDER & that delivery timeframes are ESTIMATED. You can’t complete checkout without agreeing!

💕 COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT! Facebook & Instagram messages are the BEST ways to reach me. I usually respond within the same hour, and I NEVER intentionally ignore anyone!

‼️ NOW ABOUT CHARGEBACKS! ‼️
We are NOT Walmart or Target! We are SMALL BUSINESSES investing our own money, time & hard work into YOUR orders!

Filing a chargeback because you don’t want to wait for an order you knowingly agreed to preorder is NOT acceptable!!!!!!!! I WILL dispute unjustified chargebacks, provide the signed checkout acknowledgments & order documentation & pursue LEGAL remedies when needed!

I am done allowing people to take advantage of my small business! SORRY, NOT SORRY!

I genuinely appreciate every single customer who understands the process
