I just finished making these adorable trick-or-treat bags for my kids and I wanted to open it up to you guys.

These bags measure about 14 inches wide and use a stabilizer for maximum candy holding capacity. I have several options available.

Pricing varies depending on which fabric option you’d prefer. Either $22.50 for the boutique cotton fabric or $17 for a more basic option. I can embroider names for an additional $2.50.

I won’t be putting these in the shop, so just send me a message if you’d like me to make you one! I’ll have this up for about 2 weeks so I have time to customize and finish these up for you guys!

Whoops! I meant to list this adorable vest a week ago. 🙈 Life as a mom of 4 is busy, but it’s in the shop now! It would fit sizes 12-24 months. It’s the cutest seasonal piece made with an authentic vintage quilt! One of the front pieces is turned but it’s a minor detail that is hardly noticeable. And I have it at the low price of $15. One of a kind!!

’m shipping off the last of my bracelet orders today. We have raised $640 for the Ushers III Initiative, a small non-profit organization specifically dedicated to the funding of research and treatments for the extremely rare subtype of Ushers Syndrome that my son has. TO MY CORE I truly believe the next 10 years we will see some truly amazing medical advances and the hope that Emmett will not lose all his vision and hearing.

Thank you SO much for showing up and for helping me out with this amazing cause! This was a great success for my first fundraiser!!

This Saturday, September 19 is Usher Syndrome Awareness Day. Wear blue, wear your bracelets, spread awareness!!

I finished this cute outfit for my daughter just in time to wear it to her first concert. We were probably the youngest people at a Bread cover band concert ha ha. I ran out of time to make a matching bow, but the vintage 70s bedsheet was perfect for the 70s music! This is the third outfit I’ve made with this fun floral, let me know if anyone wants me to make another in a specific size!

💙 Wear Hope- Usher Syndrome 3A Awareness Fundraising Bracelet

This bracelet means so much more to our family than just a piece of jewelry. 💙

My 10-year-old son, Emmett, was recently diagnosed with Usher syndrome type 3A, an extremely rare genetic condition that causes progressive hearing loss and Retinitis Pigmentosa, a disease that can gradually take away vision as well.

There is currently no cure.

But research is giving us hope. Scientists are working toward treatments that could preserve hearing and sight for children like Emmett—and every dollar raised can help move that research forward.

I can’t sit here and do nothing while watching my son lose his two most vital senses. I’m starting off with a small fundraiser to help the organization dedicated to developing treatments for his exact subtype.

💙 Bracelets are $10- $12.50 each
💙 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Usher III Initiative
💙The penguin represents Emmett’s favorite animal and if you look closely you’ll notice that there are 10 gold or silver beads on either side of the penguin and ASL hand charm. That is to represent his 10 years of age.

Our biggest wish is simple: that Emmett grows up in a world where losing his hearing and vision isn’t inevitable.

My goal is to sell 100 of these bracelets. Right now I’m taking pre-orders and everything will be shipped out within 2-3 weeks to have in time for Usher Syndrome Awareness Day on September 19th. Link is in my Etsy shop- if you’re local use the code FRIENDSANDFAM to bypass shipping fees.
