Sometimes life gives you lemons and sometimes it gives you Lemon Drops. Either way, it’s important to remember things when it’s all said and done, right?

And while we did miss out on the seasonal celebration designs, others called those and made solid catches. But we're proud of the Wolves and wanted to remember their historic run to the State Tournament in our own way.

Breaker 1-9, we ain't got a 20 on Smokey, but we know where the fire is. Yeah, we typed that. And we might've broken a hip when we did. Anyway, we've got trucker hats if you need something to cover up that lake hair this summer.

These are coming from a different supplier than our shirts, and we're currently having some issues getting them added to the site. So these are available to order by sending us a message. If you'd like a custom trucker hat, feel free to message us and we'll see if we can get something designed that you like.

Apparently they only wanted to stream today's game if they were playing in it. Lame, we know. They seem like the type to call their mom to pick them up from the sleepover whenever they have to give up their controller so someone else can play, though.

We totally would've streamed for them if we could stream and they had won, but we can't and they didn't.

It’s that time of year when Wolves are getting ready to walk across stages and into their next chapters. For some of them that’s just a walk across the playground and for some it’s a couple block walk to the high school. But there’s a group that are walking out with a diploma and on to a college campus or into the workforce.

Regardless of where you’re walking, remember to be great while your’e on your way to any of those places you may go. And don’t think that just because you’re going that you have to leave. It’s cool to stick around and be great, too. Just be great.

Sometimes you don’t have the legs to annex Puerto Rico or the arm to hit ‘em with a fancy little flea flicker. Sometimes all you have is that five dollar blast, right up the gut. Over and over and over again. Until they're sick of seeing it. But a touchdown is a touchdown, right?

When we heard that Goober needed funds, we knew we weren’t going to be the ones to bring one of those oversized checks that’s full of commas and zeroes. But the $100 that I had, personally, felt a bit inadequate, too. So we opted to roll the dice and buy some trading cards and stickers, because we were trying to make cents, not sense. And I’m happy to say that we deposited $1040 into Goober’s account at First National Bank yesterday.

I thought doubling my $100 would be neat and that it'd be awesome if we could get to $500. And yeah, it’s not one of those oversized checks, but we did get a comma and a couple zeroes in there. We know it’s just a drop in the bucket when compared to the mountains of medical bills, but we also know that Goober wouldn’t turn down a 10 to 1 payout. That's good money.

Thank you to everyone that liked, shared and purchased cards or stickers with the fundraiser. We really appreciate it, sincerely. It's good to have fun raising funds.

The second batch of cards are in and available for pickup at Sooner Pharmacy in Davis or Travel Time in Sulphur during their regular business hours. The ones that needed to be mailed are on their way to you. The stickers will be in on Tuesday and ready for pickup or mailed on Wednesday.

To a four year old kid that didn’t know much about football, you were all just Goober with a different number to me. Our thoughts are with Goober’s family and friends.

The funds that we’ve raised from the cards and sticker packs will be going to Goober’s family to help cover whatever it’ll help cover. Both of those items are available through Sunday (04/19), if you’d like one.

We sold through all of the first batch of cards that were ordered, which means I don’t have any for myself. So I’m ordering a second batch of cards and still have some of the sticker packs available. Find those posts to see what they look like.

If cards and stickers aren't your thing, there's an auction over at Fight Like Goober Holland with a lot of other items that are going toward the cause. Or there's also a scholarship fund setup at Vision Bank if you just have money to give and you don't want anything in return. Scholarship info can be found on the FLGH page.

If you ordered one of the first batches of cards before today (04/16), they’re in and ready for pickup. If you live in Davis you can pick your cards up at Sooner Pharmacy and if you live in Sulphur you can pick your cards up at Travel Time during their regular business hours. The cards that needed to be mailed have been mailed.

Y’all didn’t think we were one and done on the Goober goods, did you? We gained some decent yards with the cards, but we’ve got more ground to cover. Keep sharing and buying the cards, but let’s stick to your man and get to the end zone with a Goober Holland sticker pack for $15.

We’ve got five one-of-a-kind sticker designs for a dude thats the same. There’s a Goober Del Cielo, Tecmo Goober Bowl, Football Goob, Goober Smoocher and Goofy Goober sticker in each pack. Are they odd? Definitely, but they’re nods to some of the things that have made us think about Goober over the years. We think they’ll make great conversation starters to spread the good word of Goob.

We ordered 100 of each design that we’ll be packaging together for $15, if stickers or remembering Goober are your thing. The 100 sticker packs will be it for this batch, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. Don’t get caught slippin, you'd better get to stickin.

All sales from the sticker packs will be deposited into Goober’s bank account for him to do whatever he wants to do with them. We’re just trying to put a few points on the board in the fourth for him.

To keep things straight and make sure everyone gets what they pay for, if you want a sticker pack, we need you to comment here (in THIS post, NOT a shared post) with “Quantity, Paid, Venmo/Paypal, Pickup/Ship”. Obviously we now know that Davis Wolves existed as far back as the early 1900s, but to four year old kids in the late 1900s, Goober was the OG Wolf. Before we were old enough to dread the side cramps that came from Shannon Laps in the old gym or learn life lessons from Old Weber, there was Goober. And Goober was cool.

So we’re attempting to put the fun in fundraiser by doing something a little different with our own Goober Holland trading card that you can own for the low, low price of $5. Or two for $10. Or four for $20. Or ten for $50. The sky really is the limit and you can buy as many as you want.

Why a trading card? Because, like Goober, they're cool. On top of being cool, they’re a neat visual reminder that you can use to remind yourself to send some positive energies Goober’s way or gift it to someone that doesn’t know who he is and share your favorite stories about him with them. It’s really up to you.

All sales from the trading cards will be deposited into Goober’s bank account for him to do whatever he wants to do with them. We’re just trying to put a few points on the board in the fourth for him.
