Arts & Craft style/design - earlier in the 19th Century (1800s) - eventually transforming into the Art Nouveau of the late 1800s about 1915ish

Art Nouveau came after the Art & Crafts era and in some cases is a combination of both. It started in the 1800s and ended with WWI. Was on the outs starting around 1910 and was mostly gone by 1915-1918, it ended rather abruptly with WWI because it seemed frivolous.
