Sports World is family owned sporting goods store located in Decorah, IA to go along with a store located in Prairie du Chien, WI. The Yeomans family has been in the sporting goods industry for over 40 years, we have seen many brands come and go, different trends hit the market, and products and styles change with the times. We feel, with our experience of purchasing and selling these products, we

have developed a unique line of garments that will lead us, our customers and the industry in a new and exciting direction. Not only does Sports World sell athletic and casual footwear as well as accesspries we also sell custom made apparel and are in partnership with Dye Sport, also under Yeomans Incorporated that currently consists of athletic uniforms mainly directed to the high school and college markets. Football, basketball, track, softball, baseball, wrestling, golf, volleyball and swimwear are uniforms currently offered by Dye Sport. There are many new products and garments in development that will be offered in the near future. Along with our top-notch cut and sewing operations, and in house custom graphics department, Dye Sport also offers embroidery, screen-printing, and Dye Sublimation to their customers.

STORE CLOSING It’s with heavy hearts that we confirm what many of you have heard, or now will be hearing. The DECORAH Sports World will be closing. Due to multiple unforeseen issues, health, staffing, and inventory availability, we have had to make the tough decision to close the Decorah Store Location.

Our hours for the next month will be:
Monday, Thursday and Friday -10:00-6:00, Saturday-9:00-5:00.

Our Store closing sale has started now. All clothing and some hard goods are 20% with first come first serve sizing available. Due to inventory issues, only select shoes will be marked down at this time. They will be marked with orange tags on the wall or in our bargain cave.

We would like to thank everyone that has helped us along the way. Each person that walked through our doors helped us become who we are today. The community support, friendships and personal and business relationships created over the last few years will never be forgotten. We are saddened to be leaving such a beautiful town with such great people. It was an honor serving this community and its people.

***IMPORTANT: The Sports World in Prairie Du Chien location will remain open for years to come and we hope to see many of your smiling faces in the store and as the years pass.

In addition to the Prairie store remaining open we will still continue to serve the Decorah and surrounding communities with Screen-print, embroidery, ad specialties, awards and other services. Like during the past 5 years, Aaron Hageman will be continuing as our sales rep in the region and local surrounding areas.
