- Don’t take your glasses off with one hand.
- Don’t wear your glasses on top of your head.
- Don’t wipe your glasses with your shirt.

- Don’t clean your glasses with household cleaners.
- Don’t wear your glasses in the sauna.
- Don’t put your glasses down lens-first.
- Don’t adjust your glasses with a hair dryer.

We have set aside a certain amount of glasses and we will provide those who have lost their frames with a pair and single vision lenses, on the house.

Your eyes do a lot for you. When was the last time you returned the favor?

Seeing clearly is only part of the picture. A comprehensive eye exam checks both your vision and the health of your eyes, and can also catch early signs of other health issues, too.

It can identify whether you need a prescription or an update, and detect conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, which can develop before you notice symptoms. Finding problems early gives you more opportunity to treat them and protect your sight.

Your eyes can also reveal how conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure are affecting the delicate blood vessels inside them.

An exam is also a chance to understand your personal risks and get guidance on protecting your vision as you age. How often you need one depends on your age, health, family history and your eye doctor’s recommendations.

“I can see fine” is reassuring. Knowing your eyes are healthy is better.

Save this as your reminder to keep regular eye exams on your calendar.

The biggest misconception about sunglasses? That you only need them when it’s sunny.

UV rays don’t take days off, even when its cloudy. And over time, UV exposure can contribute to premature aging around the eyes, cataracts, and other long-term eye damage.

The good news? Protecting your eyes is pretty simple.

Look for sunglasses with 100% UVA and UVB protection (UV400). And remember, darker lenses don’t necessarily mean better protection. Polarized lenses help reduce glare, but polarization alone doesn’t guarantee UV protection.

Like SPF protects your skin, UV400 protects your eyes.
