Good Morning! Orders for gift giving season are coming in and today I'll be working on recipe boards. We start by receiving a text or message with a photo of the recipe. With photo editing software I'm able to remove shadows, backgrounds, "gunk", etc. As you can see, the original handwriting is preserved. But.... this is only the beginning!!

Our machines have been busy! We are nearly ready to launch k**b covers for 9 new vehicles! They should be in our Etsy shop Father & Son 3D by the end of the week. We're adding some Toyota trucks, some new Chevys and the Ford Expedition to our lineup of k**b covers. If you don't see your vehicle in our Etsy shop, contact us! You'll receive a free set of k**b covers for letting us measure and test fit prototypes for your vehicle!

Hey friends! This past Saturday we were at Crook Farm in Pennsylvania enjoying a beautiful fall day. We met lots of great people and made a lot of kids happy with our 3D printed wares! Carmen got to press her own cider and try her hand at weaving on a floor loom. There was so much to do and see, we're definitely looking forward to going back next year!

Good morning! This Saturday we are headed back to the Harvest Apple Fest in Bradford, PA. It will be held at Crook Farm, a living history farmstead, where they depict life in rural Pennsylvania from the 1860's through the 1880's. Interactive demonstrations include cider pressing, candle dipping, wood stove cooking, blacksmithing and more. This year they're expected to have over 30 vendors, including food trucks. Come join us for a day of fun in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside!

The past two weeks we've been making the drive to West Herr Toyota in Orchard Park, NY (Go Bills!). We've been measuring k**bs, making prototypes and test fitting them. Toyota k**b covers are in the works and should hit the Etsy shop soon!

Did you know that 3D printing got its start in the early 1980's? In the beginning it was used solely for industry. By 2005 it became less expensive and more accessible to the average person. Since then applications for 3D printing technology have exploded. It is now possible to 3D print small houses, prosthetics, dental implants and more! 3D tools have been printed in space and scientists are researching how to print human tissue for medical use. Even though we don't print life changing items here at Mill Street Makers LLC, we DO print items that make life a little more enjoyable! Got a question about something you'd like to have printed? This week we were able to create some very special cake toppers for our friends son, Barrett. He earned his Eagle Scout recently, which is an absolutely HUGE achievement, and will soon be celebrated by friends, family and fellow scouts. It was wonderful to be able to provide these for him! And thank you Michelle Lynn for choosing us to make them!
