The original idea for Outlying Outfitters came about when we recognized that no other southern prep clothing line accurately
captures where boating began. Today's shirts are full of the modern sport fishers and sail boats, but no one else goes back to the roots; to the classic wooden sailing ships. That's where Outlying Outfitters comes in. We want to capture the elegant power of these great ships and display them in a modern southern prep style. Whether we take a ship from Her Majesty's Royal Navy or from the group of US Frigates that dominated the Great Lakes, Outlying Outfitters will combine our love of the history of seapower with our commitment to comfortable, stylish clothing. By funding our Kickstarter, you are not just funding our ability to make a few quality T-shirts. Your support makes you a key part in something much larger. Our goal is to become a full clothing outfitter with a wide range of products, including an always-growing lineup of new T-shirts that stay true to our initial style.
