🍂 It finally feels like fall—and I’m in the mood for jackets! 🧥
Today, I decided to reorganize my showroom and bring out all my transitional and fall jackets. And let me tell you, I’ve created so many blazer masterpieces over the years, in both classic and funky styles, that I might need 10 episodes just to show them all! 😄

I thrifted this jacket in Aspen in September. I didn’t even try it on. I grabbed it because I loved the tapestry jacquard fabric and was impressed how well motif was placed in the back 👌!
But once I brought it home, I completely took apart, recut and remade only in two weeks🙄😄.
I was so happy it matched Tommy Hilfiger velvet pants I developed 26 years ago. Also wide leg velvet pants I created 10 years ago and never wore. Feels good to bring forgotten back to life. I’ ll wear this suit a lot this Fall🙏👍🍁🍂

We had a fantastic time at celebration today!
As an MC on the stage, I had to look 😊 .
So 1st outfit was: Ketivani silk cami and Spencer beaded jacket.
2nd outfit my handmade silk caftan with maxi skirt.

So apparently, I’m the person who reads one sentence in Vogue and immediately acts on it. 😂
I read that Galliano’s collection for Zara would launch on October 1, and without doing any further research, I rushed to Cherry Creek Mall. I wasn’t even planning to shop, I was just curious to see the designs in person and fully expected a big line.
But, to my surprise, there was absolutely no buzz in the store. The store clerk told me they expected the collection to arrive by the end of October.
No big deal for me since I live a block from the mall, but before you rush out like I did—do your homework! 😂

This was the fun show Denver Fashion Week! I still don’t know who I wonna be: desigber, model, entertainer, tailor, teacher, grandma… I guess love to be Jack Of All Trades!
I was invited to act as MC on October 4 Ertoba event. Will change at least two outfits I made. Hope to see my fashion people too.

Selling runway samples is hard for independent designers, because stores want to buy full size sets and customers expect same price as RTW 🤷🏻‍♀️. Today I finally sold a runway sample in size 4 and it didn’t even need any alteration.
Some days are good, some days are even better
