There are those women who are just born outside the proverbial box...

Their partners say things like:
"She likes things to look a certain way"

"I can't buy her clothes- that would be disasterous"

"She's got this wild & free expression that I love"

"I don't think I can successfully describe her style...it just really depends. Me: on what? Him: I have no idea." (Fair!)

"She is not going to want me to just pick out a ring for her....that might go bad!"

"She's a planner type- she wants to know all the options before deciding"

To these women, I salute you! Right here with you. To the men who love them, success for their engagement ring might mean that we design and make the bridal set at the same time. This means we design the engagement ring and the wedding ring together which allows us to approach their set from a higher perspective. How will the bridal set look together? What's the final, cohesive ring set?

These are women that like the full plan and the full dream of ________ (fill in the blank) so that they know the plan. These women are A to Z processors that prefer a full picture for big decisions like their forever moments. These women like all the information and appreciate the opportunity to sift through in order to determine what they want.

Ahhhem, these women do not like being told what they want or what to do. 😬

My recommendation: pull her into the design meeting and create the rings together at the same time. This way she knows what's going on, and you know that she's on board with her complete ring plan since we're designing the engagement ring and wedding ring at the same time with her input.

ROUND OF APPLAUSE!!!

I patiently waited, and woah was it worth it!!! The Laur is everything I imagined and more. It is dainty, yet detailed with such a beautiful shine. It feels like it's always been a piece of me and is the perfect symbolism of what our partnership means to us.

My now fiancé proposed under the chairlift at our hometown ski mountain. A place where I grew up, and he faced his fears and learned how to ski. It is our favorite place to spend the cold winter days in NH.

The groups of three remind me of past, present, and future, while the mini imperfections ground me in understanding "it is ok to not be perfect". It is perfectly imperfect.

I feel so lucky to get to wear this stunning piece. It feels like an absolute dream.

ASJ Custom: He was sweatin' it a little 💍She wanted a little sprinkle of it all in her engagement ring....classic oval or round cut, diamond halo, clusters of color pops on the sides, carve-out design accents under her oval cut, Ruby red stones for his birthstone hidden underneath, and more. She knew she wanted a teal sapphire for her center stone but she wasn't sure how it would all play nice together! He was a little nervous about creating a ring from scratch. "Is this going to look good?!" he asked. "Can you ground all of this into stunning?" he muttered. We met with them both and he politely uninvited her from the process after we had nailed the sketch design. 🥰 Did he and we together ground her ring into stunning realms- we thinks yes!! 💍💍💍 Designed and handmade from scratch just like the best art just for his love, Emily Rose.

She has never been the kind of person to know what her engagement ring was going to be, and so she spent months scrolling through the online chaos to a point that made her overwhelmed and not at all ring excited. Meanwhile, he watched her become more confused and frustrated, which was the last thing he wanted.

The wild thing is that she was in the jewelry industry too. It just goes to show how hard it can be to figure out your own ring dream...

We met and sifted through a lot. She had patterns of things she loved that weren't easily apparent but that's how it can be with designs we like. That's really when an actual human designer can be helpful! She was a huge fan of the mint greens and shades of teal. She wanted a "celestial" look for the band, and didn't want symmetry at all but rather a steady balance.
