ONE WEEK AWAY! Our last pop-up for the foreseeable future is next Saturday, May 9 from 1-3pm at Park Fair Mall. You'll find new summer items, including swimwear, shorts, and shirts! Everyone is welcome to shop, always. Everything is always free, and we can purchase gender affirming items for you, too!

We're excited to have a fun lineup of guests to support you and bring joy to our May pop up!

🏳️‍⚧️Max (they/he) provides support for those transitioning and can help with binder fittings.

🖍Marlú (they/elle, she/ella) can help you get settled with some tea, crafts, and conversation.

🗣Ashley (she/her) has been a speech and language pathologist for 15 years and has expertise the mechanics of voice. Her goal is to provide tips and techniques for attaining the voice you desire.

📚DSM Pride Center is an inclusive space to access knowledge and experiences that deepen the understanding of LGBTQIA+ history and our community. We're excited to have them join us with books that you can check out and return later to their permanent library at The Mickle Center.

🍪RatRace is a small micro-bakery committed to providing the Des Moines area with creative and classic cookies. Operating with a Pay-What-You-Can business model because they believe everyone deserves a little treat, whether they can afford it or not.

🎨Hunter's Craft Corner will be selling earrings, necklaces, and keychains made from Perler Beads to raise funds for his top surgery. Hunter's been an integral part of the Common Love team and we hope you'll show him some love at the pop up!

In June, you can find us at the Trans Lives Festival on 6/6, People's Pride on 6/20, and Valley Junction Pride on 6/28. We aren't sure what the future holds after that, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Thanks for helping us build this community for three years! Stop by on May 9 to soak in the good vibes. We'd love to see you. 💗

We'd love to see you at our next shopping event on Saturday, April 11 from 1-3pm at Park Fair Mall Suite 107! We'll have all new (to us) spring and summer items on the racks. No more winter and fall items, so come grab some new fits for summer!

Our lovely community guests will be around to support you with alterations (feel free to bring something from home too that needs mended), voice coaching, and crafts + tea!

As a reminder, we do not accept clothing donations on shopping days! Thank you!

Friends! We are so close to Saturday, can you feel it?? We want to see you at the pop up from 1-3pm at Park Fair Mall Suite 107!

In addition to our special guests (reminder voice coaching, binder fittings, alterations + mental health chats!!) and loads of free goodies, we are excited to have the only bilingual Girl Scout Troop in Des Moines selling cookies! Each box is $6, and they can accept cash, cards, or venmo/paypal.

We'll have some cookies for snacking on in the kitchen, so NO PRESSURE to buy from these young entrepreneurs -- they are ok hearing no, we promise. Hey you! 💕It's hard out here. Come hang out and shop (for free) with us on Saturday, March 14 from 1-3pm at Park Fair Mall, Suite 107.

The racks are stocked to the max (yes, again - we refreshed the racks after last month) + our amazing community guests will be there to support you with voice coaching, transition questions & binder fittings, and simple alterations. We can help purchase gender affirming items for you as well, like binders, packers, breast forms, etc.

We're also excited to have Hilary Johnson, LMHC, LPCC (she/her) and Amber Wallingford, LMSW (she/they) with us from Prism Therapy Solutions available to answer questions about affirming medical care and general mental health services. Prism's care team is composed of members and lifelong advocates of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Prism Therapy Solutions was formed because the q***r and BIPOC folks of Iowa deserve a therapy group dedicated to their care. You can find them in our craft/kitchen space, where we'll have tea and cookies.

Speaking of cookies, Troop 535 - the only bilingual Girl Scout Troop in Iowa - will be at the pop up selling cookies! You'll likely recognize their Troop leader, Marlú (they/elle, she/ella), who is often at the pop ups. If you're interested, stop by and say hi to the kiddos and snag some cookies. But please don't feel pressured, we'll have some for munching on in the kitchen.

We can't wait to see you on Saturday at Park Fair Mall Suite 107 from 1-3pm! Come be our Valentine💘 As a reminder, we'll have flower making out of book pages with Linden (they/he), plus some free plant starts -- while supplies last! UPDATE ON GUESTS: Ashley our lovely voice coach isn't able to make it after all -- sorry!

We will still see Max the Doula on site to support y'all with questions, thoughts about transitioning. We can always purchase items like binders, breast forms, packers, tucking garments, etc so chat us up. And our new friend Kathleen can help with simple alterations so bring an item that needs some mending or get something altered that you pick up at the shop!

It's hard times, let's be together. We'll have some pie and hot tea in the kitchen with the crafts + plants. 💞

Will you be our Valentine?? 🥰 We're hosting our first shopping event of the year on February 14! It's quite fitting since Love is in our name. 😚 Join us on Saturday, Feb 14 from 1-3pm at Park Fair Mall, Suite 107.

We're hosting a clothing drive!! We want your winter and spring clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags, etc. on Monday, January 19 from 3-6pm outside of Park Fair Mall between the Ace Hardware and Home Furnishing store. We'd love to see emo/goth items! Fat-sized items! Sweatshirts and sweatpants! Dresses and skirts!

We'll be outside with a cart to collect your items. Be kind and please bring us items you'd wear. And, if you're feeling extra generous, we'd love donations of brand new makeup, skin care, hair care, underwear + socks, and non-perishable foods. That's right, we started offering a small selection of foods for folks to take.

We do NOT accept:
❌Stained, dirty, ripped, broken items
❌Smelly items (smoke, pets, b.o.)
❌5k fun run / volunteer event / work logo style shirts
❌Used underwear or socks
❌Children's clothing

Hey friends, did you know that our time at Park Fair Mall is coming to a close in 2026? Our very generous host site, CICIL, is relocating to a more accessible and safer space. So, we'll be around like usual 2nd Saturday of the month February through May. Our last pop-up in Suite 107 will be May 9. We plan to be at Pride events in June and at a new location (fingers crossed, tbd) in August.

Because of the impending move, we've been keeping our clothing stock lighter but it's too light and we need your help replenishing the racks! We're hosting a clothing drive in January and NOT a pop up.

Bring us your unwanted (but great condition) clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags, etc. on Monday, January 19 from 3-6pm outside of Park Fair Mall between the Ace Hardware and Home Furnishing store.
